Dr. Herba is interested in the emotional development of children. Her research focuses on different aspects of emotional development, including the recognition of facial expressions and emotional and behavioural difficulties. Dr. Herba is particularly interested in the associations between parental well-being and mental health and the child’s development.
Sarah Lippé
Researcher and assistant head of the Brain and Child Development axis at the CHU Sainte-Justine Research Centre
Dr. Lippé is a professor in the Department of psychology at l'Université de Montréal and the founder of the
Neuroscience of Early Development research lab. Dr. Lippé’s work aims to better understand brain and cognitive development of the child and infant. More particularly, Dr. Lippé is interested in learning mechanisms and developmental disorders of diverse origins.
Linda Booij
Professor in the Department of Psychiatry, McGill University
Researcher, Douglas Mental Health University Institute and CHU Sainte-Justine Research Centre
Dr. Booij is a psychologist and Head of Research and Academic Development of the Douglas’ Eating Disorders Continuum. Her research focuses on the neurodevelopmental mechanisms of psychopathology, particularly eating disorders.

Dr. Vaillancourt’s team’s research aims to understand the implication of various stressors on the functioning of the human placenta and, consequently, fetal development and health in the long term. In the long-term, Dr. Vaillancourt’s work aims to improve the health of pregnant women and their offspring.
